So who is she?
'Gemma Chan is an English film, television and theatre actress and former fashion model.'
She played Charlotte in season four of the Showtime and ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl; Ruth in Channel 4's award-winning series Fresh Meat; Mia Bennett in the BBC's Doctor Who "The Waters of Mars" with David Tennant and Soo Lin in Sherlock, the modern-day adaptation of Sherlock Holmes for BBC One, with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.
Same surname, and born on the 29th November, a day before mine. Not just similarities on names and dates, but also personalities: ‘I’m not shy but I don’t feel the need to be the centre of attention in a social situation. I like watching other people and observing,’ said the 31-year-old. She studied law too: 'She read law at Oxford before going on to drama school at the Drama Centre in London and although she never practised the subject, it seems to make sense that she was drawn to it.'
She's also an excuse for me to post all these stunning photos of her modelling amazing dresses in flawless makeup and hair.
